A fruity blend of strawberries, açaí, and coconut milk for a cool, creamy refreshment.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries
02 - ½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced, plus additional for garnish

→ Açaí & Juice

03 - 1 packet (3.5 oz) unsweetened açaí purée, thawed, or 2 tablespoons açaí powder
04 - 1 cup white grape juice or apple juice

→ Coconut Blend

05 - 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

→ Sweetener

06 - 1 to 2 tablespoons simple syrup or agave syrup, to taste

# Directions:

01 - In a large shaker or mason jar, combine freeze-dried strawberries, thawed açaí purée or powder, white grape juice, and simple syrup.
02 - Muddle vigorously to dissolve the açaí and break down the strawberries slightly, releasing their flavors.
03 - Add coconut milk and ice cubes to the shaker.
04 - Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until well-mixed and frothy.
05 - Strain the mixture into two tall glasses filled with fresh ice.
06 - Top each glass with sliced fresh strawberries and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like a café splurge but costs a fraction of the price.
  • No blender required—just a jar and some vigorous shaking, which is oddly therapeutic.
  • Naturally vegan and dairy-free, so everyone at your table can enjoy it without asking.
02 -
  • Using canned coconut milk instead of the carton version makes the drink separatey and thick instead of smooth—I learned this the hard way and had to strain it twice.
  • Muddling matters more than you'd think; if you skip it or rush it, the açaí won't dissolve fully and you'll get grainy pockets in your drink.
03 -
  • Shake harder than feels necessary—this creates the frothy, silky texture that separates a homemade version from a sad, flat imitation.
  • If the drink tastes too thick, it's usually the coconut milk; next time, use a lighter hand or swap in coconut water for half of it and keep the same amount of actual milk for creaminess.
